Puerto Rico: The forgotten people!

In the past year I have become very interested in my heritage.  I joined Ancestry.com to look up my family history.  I have been surprised at the outcome, both good and bad.  As a direct result of my search I became increasingly aware that the plight of Puerto Rico is is REALLY bad shape.  I watched video after video from people on the Island of Puerto Rico begging the USA to hear their concerns only to fall on deaf ears.  Even though Puerto Rico been part of the USA since 1898, not much in the way of rights, have been given to the people.  MY people! I am ashamed of the US for turning their backs on the people of Puerto Rico all for monetary gains.

The Obama's came across as the HOPE for the people of Puerto Rico.  They welcomed Michelle Obama and rolled out the red carpet.  Little did they know they were lied to, used and worse they took more rights away from the poor and destitute.   How shameful is that?  Well, little Miss Michelle, you can take your BIG mouth back to where YOU came from and leave the rights of the people of Puerto Rico to them.  You are better served taking care of returning all the things you bought with the money you stole and perhaps focus on taking care of your spoiled ass children.  Since they have gone to Private School, my people have been forced to close more than 160 schools to pay back a 72 billion dollar deficit on a 4 billion dollar loan all approved by the US Congress that your lying husband got to oversee.  He put more effort into making himself look good, and you opening your mouth to smack down people you had no business involving yourself with, and now our legacy is left to clean up the damage.  Not much in the way of positive change you all promised.

Let's just say the word of the Obama's is best used as white noise for all it's worth. And the media?? Well, they have been blinded by what I call "one-upmanship" Perhaps not a word used often?? But I'm willing to bet you will focus your attention on my use of that term, and use it to prove a point. Feel free to share your concerns?? The Puerto Rican people are eager to hear how you will put your words into action.  No more excuses media.  We've got your number. Jig is up!

One pissed off Puerto Rican!
